besides which

Also, on Sunday, Vincent Gallo, who directed Brown Bunny and Buffalo ’66, both of which I’ve heard of but never seen, will apparently be screening said films at MALBA and thence talking about them, or something. I think it would be interesting/fun to go. I have never seen either, but I’ve heard of them a few times — they sound a bit self-obsessed, but also kind of interesting.

I still intend to go to the Recoleta Cemetery sometime soon, but perhaps I should save that for when my parents are here; I definitely want to go to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. Perhaps this weekend.

No, I’m not really sure why this is a separate entry from the previous. Other than that it wasn’t conneced thematically (but when has that ever stopped me).

  1. hey justin,

i just read, in one sitting, every past post. anyway.

i read about vincent gallo, and hated him instantly. go to his website, or wikipedia, and you’ll probably see why. i had this actual disgust for him. then i caught the last hour of buffalo 66 on tv, and it was incredible. i wanted to hate it so much, but couldn’t. then i got to thinking that maybe his public persona is a fake and intentionally offensive. i still don’t know about that.

you should take picture for sure.

i, meanwhile, graduate audio school in 2 weeks. i have left only 2 finals, and a final project. the final project will be a song, written and recorded by me, performed by me and some friends. i hope it’s good. if it’s not, maybe i should give up the dream and be a lawyer or financial bullshitter.

i enjoy your posts, most of the time people’s travel logs are short and dull, i like long detailed posts esp. with more than daily schedules. i shall keep on reading.

    julien

This is the online journal of Justin Dainer-Best, detailing my adventures. To the right are links to other parts of the site.

I'll sometimes cross-post things from other online manifestations of me, perhaps.
